Caboodle Workshop

I attended a Close To My Heart Workshop done by a local Consultant; and had lots of FUN! These are the 6 cards we made. I just finished them at home; as I did not have time to finish them all at the Workshop. I had to come home befor it was over to help tend to my little boy!

We all had the option to make 6 cards or a 2-page scrapbook layout. Even after making these items there were lots of paper left over to make other things. Anyone who would like to attend a workshop; please let me know!

This is a Gate Open album I made for my Mom's Birthday. I used the Star Dust Paper Pack and Star Spangled blue, Honey, Topiary cardstock. I am very happy how it turned out. She will get to see it soon!!!

March Stamp of the Month

"A Little Everything" is a great stamp set. See how you could earn it FREE!!!

This is a dry-erase board made by using a 12" X 12" Scrapbook page frame. I have seen these posted by other scrappers and wanted to make one for myself. These would make GREAT gifts! I just used a 12 X 12 page and decorated it with a few embellishments and a couple of stamps. There is a weekly calendar, a To Do list and a small place to make notes. I forget what Close To My Heart paper this is; I think it may be a retired paper pack.

Where to come up with ideas???

One of the greates things about Close To My Heart is that they offer beautiful tri-annual Idea Books/Catalogs full of wonderful, creative ideas for us to use for our own projects. Once we have this great catalog/idea book we can see all the products necessary to make the beautiful, hand-crafted projects and see what they look like when we are done. Sometimes though we get frustrated while looking at the gorgeous layouts we lose track of how to make them.... Close To My Heart offers a complete recipe guide to how to make and all the necessary items and accessories to complete these projects. And the recipe guide is absolutely FREE!!! Teacher Valentine Gifts

These are just little candy gifts made for my sons teachers. He has five teachers and they are really daycare center employees. My son is almost two years old and goes to Daycare three days a week. We call it school. He likes School!
